Introduction
The ATHE Level 6 Certificate in Project Management is a 15 credit Ofqual regulated qualification.
This qualification aims to enable learners to understand the process of identifying appropriate and feasible projects. Learners will also understand how the projects can be planned and monitored in order to achieve business objectives.
Credits: 15 UK Credits – Equivalent to 7.5 ECTS
Grading: Fail, Pass, Merit, or Distinction.
Delivery Mode: Via distance learning.

Typical Age: This qualification is designed for learners who are typically aged 19 and above.
Qualifications: For learners who have recently been in education or training the entry profile is likely to include one of the following:
- One or two years’ study of Business, Management or related qualifications at a Higher Education Institution or a college or university offering higher education qualifications
- A level 5 qualification in Business, Project Management or related subjects for example an ATHE Level 5 Extended Diploma in Management
- Other equivalent international qualifications.
Language: For those whom English is not their first language we recommend the following standards of proficiency in English language skills or an approved equivalent for this qualification:
- IELTs 5.5
- Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) B2
- Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) 162 or above
- Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic 42-49
- If students are not able to provide one of these certificates, they will be asked to do an internal English test to assess their level.
