The module on Vision and Strategy equips students with a robust understanding of how to create and execute strategic initiatives that drive organizational success. Upon completion, students will be able to craft compelling organizational visions, align stakeholders, and develop strategies rooted in innovative and critical thinking to achieve long-term goals. They will gain proficiency in conducting environmental analyses, setting mission-aligned objectives, and formulating adaptive strategies through frameworks like PESTLE, SWOT, and Porter's Five Forces. Additionally, the module emphasizes effective strategy implementation, integrating innovation, and fostering strategic leadership and communication skills. Through practical applications and case studies, students will refine their ability to evaluate and adapt strategies in dynamic environments, preparing them to lead with insight and agility in competitive markets.
Programme Outcomes
- This module provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to develop a vision for an organisation and formulate effective strategies to achieve organisational goals with a focus on out-of-the-box thinking to encourage students to challenge conventional thinking, explore new market spaces, and generate fresh ideas for strategic advantage. Successful strategy execution would be emphasized.
- A Bachelor's degree or post-graduate degree in business, administration, management, or a related field
- Minimum 180 ECTS previously acquired at a Higher Education institution
- 2 years of work experience
- A GPA score of 2.5 (C+) or higher (or equivalent) will be required
- Proof of C1 level of English or equivalent
